going to start original GUILD WARS

hello all,

i am going to get a copy of the original Guild Wars sometime in the next week or so in anticipation of Guild Wars 2, which is looking incredibly fun and innovative. I hear the first is a great introduction to the world and the lore/backstory...and can earn you rewards for your Guild Wars 2 character for certain achievements (plus I hear it is just really fun and awesome!).

Is anyone interested in playing or does anyone already play? It would be fun to team up!! yayyyy.

I played the original when it first launched, and it was fun, but I never got much into the story. I suppose I could try it again if I get time.

I've never played GW, but I'd join in...my Rift subscription ends in a couple days, and the game looks interesting.

I'd be down for some Guild Wars.. i have the original but none of the expansion packs.

True it did feel like playing single player, but getting a group together with your guild/alliance mates and trying out one of the instanced dungeons was a blast.
