Comprehensive. Thanks a ton for spelling it all out. Looks like one hell of a shopping list.

Question: Does having a blue piece of gear increase the crit chance when you upgrade, as in Blue-Blue>Green-Blue? Also, do the chances of going from Green-Blue decrease with every subsequent tier?

The grade, or color, of a piece of gear used in crafting does not increase the chance of a crit, better grade on the new gear; however, the grade of the newly crafted gear will always be at least as good as the grade of the gear used to craft it with a chance to be a better grade. So for example lets say I craft 1 helmet and it crits so it is a blue, then I use the blue helmet to craft the next tier helmet. The next tier helmet will either retain the blue grade or will advance to the pink grade, but it will never lose a grade and become green again.

I have not done much research nor have I done much testing but from what I can tell the tier of gear you are crafting has no affect on its crit chance, the crit chance is based on the crafter's proficiency not what is being crafted. Though I may be wrong about this, as I said I have not looked into this very much at this time.
