From reading that linked post, here are the bonuses:

    • Map acknowledgement
    • Guild standard flying from that keep
    • Your standard's tactics are enabled realmwide for people on your side near to that keep (cool)
    • Moderate increase in guild xp gain

I just am not sure if it is that worth it yet.

Having taken keeps in DAoC (where the only bonus was having your name on the map) I can tell you that it's worth it. The other stuff is just gravy. Nothing brings you guild more renown amongst you realmmates than being known for taking and holding keeps.

When you go into your guild tab, click on the "Rewards" tab (I believe thats what its called) on the top right. On the left side of that you will see that at GR 2 I believe, there is a clicky for "Tithe". Once you click on that, you will get a box where you can put a percentage of your mob drop money to the guild bank. So, if you change it to 10, 10% of your dropped money from that point on will go to the guild bank. It will not take any of your current cash out when you do that, just what you get from drops from that point on. Ive noticed personally that since cash is so plentiful in this game, I don't even notice it.

Again, the guild has no required tithe so if you would prefer not to tithe cash that is absolutely fine.
This is really nice info. I think 10% s very reasonable.
