PS4 Beta

For those who've not noticed, the Beta (10gb) is up on the marketplace.

Who else is participating? Would be nice to get a list of names to try and keep the AKS semi together.

This Beta, I plan to go as a CNJ. A lighter shade of Miqo'te as well, or Elezen.

Meanwhile the PS3 version might be a bit absent during the Beta phase.

I pre-downloaded the client and I believe the beta starts Feb 22. It will be nice to import your character, but during phase1 of the ps4 beta characters will not carry-over. Seems PS4 will be on a different server during the test and won't interact with PS3/PC players.

I'll probably keep the same name. More so since they'll be wiped after Beta.

Yeah, starts late Friday(?) Evening (Sat 2AM PST?) but maybe they put it out in the Marketplace to hype or make people aware of it. And being a large file, not everyone has cable or faster connection maybe thus want people to be ready ahead of the crush.

Don't know what server it will be yet. But definitely want to play with ALL featured spells and other showy stuff on (which I've currently turned off on my PS3 except for my own).

Correct. I *think* on the second phase we can use our normal server/characters which will be awesome.

Just debating whether to stick with CNJ or ACN during Beta.

I tired to login using the ID and password I use to login to the PC game for the past several weeks and it keeps saying that it is not right. IS it possible to use your exitsting accout to login to the beta or do you have to creat an account just for the Beta?

Server 1 ftw! I have to say, it looks 100x better, but I hated having to resize EVERYTHING on my HUD since everything is so small on a 49" screen. It is really nice to have quick loads and loading other players quickly.

I figured out what was screwing me, apprently my PS4 was automatically adding a space after I input my login name. I created a lancer named Sthal Tyrb on Beta 1. Crzymnky and anyone lese on Beta 1 send me a friend request!

One thing I will say is that I have not noticed if the game has an in-game voice chat. That could be a huge problem. How do you explain boss fights to party members using that cumbersome virtual keyboard?
