Tales of my demose have been greatly exaggerated!

Howdy folks! I've been gone since the early part of this year but am finally back and active in PVE again. I've been on a few times and have noticed some folks in WvW which I' e never developed an affinity for. Part of that is just laziness on my own part and part of it is remembering how crappily PVP noobs were treated in GW1.

WhatmI really want to know is what is the best way to get into WvW and Fractals? I'm sure there is a learning curve and don't want to be the idiot that holds everybody else back. Any suggestions on how to break into heretofore unexplored regioms of GW2?

The last time I played, I was mainly a Ranger but am alternating between Warrior and Guardian now. Both of them are around level 40 so far.

Hi, Daniel, glad to hear from you again! We do have a small group of dedicated players who are still in GW2, and the best place to find them would be mumble. The official GW2 guild chapter was closed a while back, since most players have moved on to other games. Our forums have been all about FFXIV ARR these days--do you have any interest in joining us for that game?
