So, I can get the game to start and I can get on our server but I can't join ANY games. It doesn't matter what type it is or what region I pick... I get the error that I can't create my city at this time. Anyone else experiencing this and/or know how to fix it?

Yes, I had this for a while. But even once I was able to start or join a game, whenever I tried to switch or claim another city I couldn't get back to the original city. So don't do that! Game crashes...Lots and lots of bugs...Invites not working...

My game won't even launch. I've been in line for chats/on the phone for 8 hours. Finally at the end of it, they admitted that the game may actually be broken and that I'll have to wait for a patch to fix it.

No kidding. At least they admitted it. Anyway, you're not missing that much, the game kept crashing and each time my city would disappear. Finally got one to stay up for a few hours, but I don't know if it will still be there in the morning.

FYI, NA East 1 has been consistently unavailable since Wednesday. So I've switched to NA East 3 and it's been working fine. So I'll be hanging out there for a while, if anyone wants to join my region.

Have we made a guild region yet?

We have many... we have the originally planned one on NA East 1 (if you can get on).. we have a secondary region (where most of us are playing now, just because it works) on NA East 3. Mumble or via origin friends list is the best way to get invited

The AKS 5 region on NA East 3 does not require invites. Make sure you have all the guildies friended on Origin, then click their icons in the Friends list in game. That will show you the regions that friend has cities in, and if it isn't a private region, you can just claim a city.

Also, are invites working now?
