Dungeon Newbie Event?

I haven't done any dungeons yet but am kind of hoping to get 5 done for the monthly at some point this week, ideally tomorrow. I usually play with inqpyre, who'd like to do the same. Anyone willing/interested in teaching a couple people how to do dungeons?

We can definitely listen on mumble, and it's possible I can find a mic somewhere, as well.

Hi, I've been in this position myself, and have found that what works best is to join in on mumble and introduce yourself. Many active AKS members are dungeon experts (not me, otherwise I'd help you), and I've found them more than willing to help out a newbie if you talk to whoever is playing and let them know. The forums aren't the best place to make a request, since a lot of the active players don't follow them closely. The best time to ask for a dungeon group is on the weekend, when more people tend to be on (although weeknights can also work). So if you want to get this done this week, I'd brush off your mic and introduce yourselves in mumble.

Thanks We managed to get 3 runs in last night (2x AC SM and 1x path 3). Hopefully we'll get two more in tonight and tomorrow!

Was thinking more about dungeons this morning and figured here was a logical place to ask my question.

Is there a SM or path that is easier for inexperienced players (or a PUG) ? The people we ran with last night didn't use mumble, and AC story went ok but the explore was significantly more difficult, especially since we couldn't easily communicate. If we do end up needed to find random people tonight or tomorrow, I realized it might be useful to have some idea what path may be more newbie friendly, if there is such a thing. Though we can always do AC story a couple more times, as that seemed to go pretty well.

I like this idea! I have yet to run a single dungeon in this game and find it difficult to keep up with the lingo. I still don't know what the hell a fractals is. Boy am I a noob.

We completed the dungeons for the monthly yesterday. Thanks to those of you that helped or offered to help. Starting dungeons this late in the game can be a little daunting, so it's nice to have a group willing to walk first-timers through it. I'd be happy to help others if people are still looking for groups.

\0/ I'm going to try and be more active on the forums for requests like these.. I'm not super well-versed in all the dungeons, but it's never too late to get started!
