Guild Information

Aureus Knights is a PvX guild based on the Maguuma server in Guild Wars 2. We plan on being active in PvE, WvW and sPvP. We have an officer team dedicated to making sure everyone has a great time in Guild Wars 2 no matter what type of content they are interested in or what their play style and dedication is.

We will be running events several times a week, please make sure to check our event forum for details on planned events. Our guild is active in virtually all time zones, 24/7, however the bulk of our events are planned for EST prime times.

Guild Details & Getting an Invite to the Guild

We are on the Maguuma server.

We will be working to get the guild created as soon as the servers come up. The easiest way on launch day to get an invite is to hop in Mumble!

We have two options if you are looking for an invite:
1) Post in THIS THREAD (thread to be posted on launch day) with your account name or a character name and an officer will invite you.
2) Contact any member in game (or on ventrilo). Any full member will be able to invite you to the guild. (We will provide details on finding a member in game when the game goes live)

Given to any member or recruit who has a member of the guild in any three of the Beta Weekends


Tyria Trail Blazer
Given to any member or recruit who joins the Aureus Knights during the first month of Guild Wars 2's launch


GW2 Chapter Officer
This award is given as a special thank you to the awesome volunteers who stepped up as Chapter Officers in GW2.

Guild Outfitter Extraordinaire
Given to any member who goes above and beyond in helping to outfit members of the guild.



Event Master
Given to any member who goes above and beyond in helping to run fellow guild members in dungeons, dynamic events and any other content in Guild Wars 2.


Keep Lord
Given to any member who goes above and beyond in leading the guild to victory in World vs World.


Battle Master
Given to any member who goes above and beyond in leading the guild to victory in Structured PvP


Survivalist
This award is given to any member who survived during the Hunger Royale event at the end of BWE3


Monumental
This award is given to any member who has completed 30/50 in their Guild Wars 1 hall of monument.

Once game goes live, what do we need in order to create the guild...IE what does it cost?

We need 1 silver to create the guild, my plan is to sell 100 gems as quick as I can to get the guild as quick as we can

You could probably just collab with a few guildies and have them sell their junk from the tutorial area and get the silver that way, better than selling off your gems.

I'll try that route ... I'm giving those on mumble with me approx 5 minutes, at which point I will sell gems

So during the stress test tonight we tested how fast we can create the guild. And basically by the time you leave the tutorial you have 1 silver. So we should be golden.
