Savage Resurrection came out this August and quickly pulled in a core audience of RTS/FPS fans. It costs $19.99, but has been on sale once for $14.99. It has already had several patches since coming out and the developer seems keen on balancing the game and fixing any issues quickly.

The game offers several different modes of play, but the core of the game is 16v16 battles with 1 person on each side acting as the Commander. The Commander has a top down view, like a traditional RTS, and coordinates the base, research, and soldiers. While they don't directly control the soldiers, they can issues waypoints and directions to guide them. The soldiers toggle between third and first person view, switching between melee and ranged combat. The FPS gameplay isn't revolutionary, but it does require some skill to perform well.
