Figuring we'll have a month or so after 3.0 to see what jobs we're all still playing and what we're doing from there.

I don't know what job I will be during 3.0, I have no particular feeling about bard and I changed main job before. If Kheo go Astroluber and Gwen Machinist, I might go monk so we have access to the sweet sweet dragon kick.

So now I'm stuck on WP, only one more raid night for us before Heavensward and I'm just not feeling like grinding the dungeons I need. At this late point, it's just not worth it to me anymore. I know others had it a lot worse by being stuck doing AV and/or DD, but when you've run a dungeon 40+ times and still have no drop, that's just freaking stupid.

Akiha and me did relic together, and the one memorable... no nightmare, was him being stuck on WP for what was maybe 50 runs. We stopped counting. Me and a few others took turns helping him though because it was retarded and awful. We were in thee for over a week and we have the whole instance down to an artform. We started playing games like keeping one specific mob alive, naming it and dragging it thru encounters. We feel your pain <3. I got mine first run...

Our original plan was to do it all together. We did agree afterwards that the system is absurdly frustrating if you want to do all the dungeons together because random drops ensure everyone ends up progressing different and if you stick thru it to help you're doing everything on repeat a gazillion times. ARGHH!

On side note yall beat the snot out of Yoshi Prime before your break! Rawr!

So, after being sick of beating my head against the brick wall know as Wanderer's Palace for the last two weeks or so, I emailed FFXIV support and asked if there was any way that me accidentally dropping the Zodiac quest could be reversed. About 3 paragraphs long of a response back that basically said, "Sorry, no." I didn't expect anything to be done but I had to ask, figured it wouldn't hurt to try. after figuring they were adding ~same power weapons with more accessibility, I mean, what the hell.

From what I think I remember hearing they said having a Zeta weapon isn't required for the new relic but if you do have it, it will be easier to acquire.

I doubt they'd add a quest for jobs they already are starting at higher levels.. it would be stupid.
Or atleast, give me a list of things to do, a clear list, not a thing about random pops and drops. Give me enough to do for 2 weeks, I really dont mind(like the books, minus the fates part). Just something I can do at any given time, when I can actually play, and not play when I have to. Thats the part that annoys me the most to be honest!


I think ill macro this to all of my healing things : "Here's some lube Haz, it wont hurt as much that way!"

and for AoEs : "Free lube! Come on, come all! It ain't fun alone!"

But eh! Lube all the things so it slide!

Zodiac Weapon will not continue. Instead there will be a brand new weapon quest line but those using ZW's will have a slightly easier time. He didn't want to make it completely useless cause he finished a ZW weapon himself!

Ohhh yeah I almost forgot! For Akiha we tried lucky Garuda feather (mine), lucky choco feather lucky stump lucky shark lucky bamboo lucky rock luck green star lucky red star lucky blue star lucky truffle risotto and... so many more lucky things.

He got it on the run we had random shitty bot healer that casted Medica II and Holy in doorways (ie not anywhere near us). That was the key.

It's fairly common knowledge that I'm totally in love with the Dark Knight job; I dream about every night lol. By the time the raid hits, I'll have both Black Mage and Dark Knight to 60 so I'll play whichever fits our needs at the time. Depending on what we need, I'm not opposed to leveling another job and rolling it.
