Weekend Event Poll: Old World Raiding

Hi everyone,

Now that everyone is settling in with the expansion, RJO and I want to start getting some regular events going! We're kicking things off with an old world raiding event. Is there some content you've always wanted to see? Some transmog gear you've had your eye on? Let's make it happen!

1. Pick a couple raids that interest you from the poll.
2. Let us know whether Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday work best for you.

This event will run for one hour, and we may fit multiple raids in if the time works out. Depending on how we perform, we'll consider taking on more recent and challenging raids like Dragon Soul or Firelands in the weeks ahead.

For those of you who know this content well... for cool mounts, pets and pallly gear where should I be looking?

My two favorite Paladin sets are the Tier 10 Lightsworn and PvP Season 11 Cataclysmic Gladiator's sets. You can outright buy the first set now as of 6.0, but the PvP set still requires a honor grind. Sunwell in particular some pretty sick looking weapons that can drop. As far as pets go, most of the raid bosses have a chance to drop themed pets now. There's not too many mounts of be found; Onyxia's Lair has a 1% chance to drop her mount (*pets his Onyxian Drake*), Ulduar has a chance to drop Mimiron's Head on the right difficulty setting, and of course heroic 25 man Icecrown has Invincible, though I doubt we'll be able to take that this week -- once we get folks warmed up to things though, it's really not difficult anymore. There's a few more scattered about in that list too.

Karazhan has the cool horse mount from the 1st boss. I *think* the sunwell might have a mount?

So just wanted to say don't take my lack of vote as a lack of interest. I'm totes in!

I wonder how long it would take to go from Molton Core to the Cataclysm raids? Isn't there an achievement for all raids? I missed all of the tbc raids so I would really like to see those
