You can beat many versions of a city within a few hours + servers that don't work. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I just hate starting over every day or so... I can't play much so I never actually get very far in a city before I find out you guys have moved on. It just gets frustrating because I'd like to be a part of everything. >_<

Honestly, the multiplay regions just move faster than that... best bet for a more casual experience is to do a solo region... I honestly suspect it's more fun that way anyway, since I find multiplayer regions get everything unlocked within 20 minutes

I've played mostly solo, and it is just a completely different game that way--long-term gratification rather than short-term. You need more patience and there is no one to bail you out if you mess up. I kind of prefer it, since the multiplayer is so fast that it feels kind of rushed to me (although I like the social aspect of it on mumble). But atm I'm not playing the game in either form until they improve the AI.
