Playing League of Legends With Aureus Knights 2.0

League of Legends has become our #1 off time activity as a guild. Because of this we've gone ahead and setup a dedicated forum for the game and we encourage our guild members old and new to download the game and give it a try. It is a game that is easy to learn and very difficult to master. You will get what you put in to it.

How to get the game?

League of Legends is free to play. You can download and register an account here. After you get the game installed we recommend you add people to your friends list using the roster below. We also recommend getting on ventrilo. Communication in the game is key and it will also allow our more experienced to coach and mentor new players.

That sounds like the perfect scenario to play League with us under - let's you keep in touch.

No one should ever question their welcome here, if you are a member in good standing, you can go away for five years and we'll still be here waiting for you.

Its not that I ever questioned my welcome here. This is honestly the best guild I've ever been a part of and our Warhammer days were LEGEND in my book. Even though LoL is the only game I currently play, I'm glad that I get to play it with good friends and great guild mates.

Well this is much later but I love playing LoL from time to time. I'm lvl 30. Pequenisimo

Oooh cool to see you guys also playing LOL I also have been playing it and I love it well love/hate relationship with it hehe but do you guys have a Chat Room setup? I put in Aureus Knights and it was empty :(

I didn't know that RJO had that kind of clout with SE. But if he does, he should be spending his time convincing them to move up the open beta date. (Tonight would be good.)

I play frequently enough....depending on the level of trolls i have to endure in ranked.

Game name is the same as forum name. Rank 2 silver right now, I should be able to get gold if I maintain my cool.

I usually play a few league games on my off time during the week although nothing serious these days mostly just some ARAMs.

League name is Hungy.

I do play this game, but i am so dam slow. I feel ashamed to go online, thinking others will massacre me.

I see that most of the posts in this thread are kind of old, so I'm wondering if many of you still play and if the ranked team still exists. I was playing a ton of league, but slowed down a lot since I started playing a lot of Wildstar. If I had people to play with, though I'd probably get back into it more. It's definitely a much better game when playing with friendly people as opposed to random pugs in solo queue.

jerrry: alot of us still play, and if you hang out in mumble you'll probably find some people playing. Some of them aren't active on the forum, and LoL, giving its tendency to induce "rage," has caused a little bit of strife in the past, so people might be a little wary of organizing things as a guild. But still, great necro though, I like how you handled the entrails!

Haha, ya, I definitely understand the rage. It's a rough game sometimes, but I defintiely prefer to play with people I even kind of know and have voice comms with. While I can't promise to never incite anyone else's rage at my play (I'm a mediocre player, was gold in solo queue before I went inactive), you'll never hear me yell at another player for how they play or for making mistakes.

And I figured I'd tag on to the sticky thread instead of creating a new one, even if it was a bit lifeless ;-)

So, I don't see a LoL channel on vent. What channel do you guys hang out in, so I know whos playing that as opposed to anything else?

It's shared with other filler games under the "CasualMinecraftLegends" room. There's a separate DnD room for ranked though. If your at home or can otherwise access it, Comrade Horrison is in there atm. And don't worry about the rage, it was more of a joke, but if your ever worried about something, you can always bake a cake :D
