(Mostly) Full Datacron location list
This comes from the same site that is featuring us today (SWTOR Strategies), but noticed this link a few days back and had seen people talking about datacron locations. The link has all of them, and many include videos on how to get them.
THIS LINK MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK

Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
You get them for exploring odd places or out of the way places in the world - they permanently buff your stats
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Thats crazy... you see things like that in like single player games but never in MMO's I am kind of excited about that :)
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
It will be an interesting addition to the game, and might actually turn out to be a big deal later game. We could also definitely have some pretty cool guild event nights searching and retrieving holocrons for everyone in the group!
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Ronin and I did a lot of exploring to find these in beta. I usually didnt care, but Ronin was like a bloodhound.. suddenly would stop and say "I hear a datacron" then we'd spend 15-20 mins trying to find it. Some of them, especially Coruscant, require platforming... and some are just insane to get to.. how Ronin would find them, or figure out how to get there.. no clue, but I was amazed lol.
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Hahaha thanks Chux. Truthfully it was all luck and I'd just end up trying to jump over everything to get the small little stat boost lol.
Idk why i had to stop and look lol, its almost like the things call to me and say "Oi, come and find me. I'm making you listen to this little shimmering sound so stop what you're doing and find me" or something along the lines of that lol.
EDIT: Wow, now that I read what I typed, I have no idea where I was going with that. I think I was half asleep when I typed that :P
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
There's also "color" datacrons which can be combined at a special location to create Relics.

hmm...looks like you mean something like this...grind, grind, grind Ohh! shiney! must get! *runs after shiney* *gets shiney and looks around* Now how did I get here I wonder?
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Completely true lol. One minute I'm on the ground happily questing, the next, I'm on a pillar two stories up in the middle of the room.
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
For those of you looking for matrix shard combinations... http://swtor.wikia.com/wiki/Datacron
Also, I've been using http://www.swtor-spy.com/datacrons/ for my spoiler list. Although the screenshots leave a lot to be desired at times, I've not gotten lost or missed a spot yet.
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Holy crap I didnt realize how the matrix shards work... now I need to make me one of those today! That's awesome

The second they list is Empire only on Balmorra. So it appears the Republic needs 2 more somewhere!
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Remember it's relative to the level of the shard you are using. You also can supposedly use a matrix emittier/prism/amplifier to change/improve the results.
There are a lot of combinations but in general it seems to be red=Strength, blue=Willpower, yellow=Endurance and green=Aim/Cunning. And order matters
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Some of the sites stats on the matrix cubes are from beta, btw. I actually put in the Level 24 YBB cube edit to show what it is now.
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Here is another website holding datacron locations. Haven't checked it out yet, but it's supposed to have YouTube videos showing how to get to them.
Re: (Mostly) Full Datacron location list
Madgoku found this from Gamefront. Someone might be interested...
