I ended up going 33/8/0. I considered going even heavier into the Defense tree, but the three things I take in Vigilance seemed very important. Instead of going with the CD reduction on my taunts, I used those two points to add more damage to my AE attacks. Not having the 30 second shorter cooldown on the escape ability is going to hurt me in pvp, but I didn't think it'd matter too much for pve tanking. I wasn't too sure about the neccessity of Cyclonic Sweeps, as I'm not sure how easily focus is generated at the the higher levels, so that's three points that could end up elsewhere.

I dropped 2 points in Pacification for 2 points in Command. Having the AE taunt up that much sooner has turned out to be absolutely necessary. Having Force Push up sooner is very nice for PvP too.

I am not 50 yet, but this is what I'm going towards, not sure how it'll work, but seems pretty legit

No sunder armor, you cray cray, Simon!

How do Accuracy and Swelling Winds help you out? Genuinely asking in case I want to reassign some points. I haven't found my build to be giving me any problems, either in PvE or PvP (though I'd say it probably is a bit more suited to PvP), but improvement = good. I have to take another look at my spec to be able to fill this out accurately, but I know that I took points in Master Focus & Profound Resolution instead at least.

Swelling winds is useful for ae threat generation and it allows me to get to accuracy. Getting your accuracy to 100% is very important, so Accuracy for me was a given.

Yeah accuracy for a Guardian everywhere I've read is a top priority because of your borderline poop DPS and the requirement of DPS to maintain aggro. Every hit counts.

what are you talking about no sunder armor? each time i use it it gains 1 additional focus and adds 1 more stack of sunder armor. also, force leap in, get unremitting on me, challenge call, group everyone together best i can, guardian leap onto an ally, have that ability on myself aswell, and force leap back and have guardian leap AND unremitting on me for 4 secs, AWESOME dmg reduction. and no cost for force sweep is pretty good too imo

^ Simonizer, I seem to recall looking at your spec before and seeing no points in the extra stacks of sunder armor, which is why his comment made sense to me then but... did you change it now? :P Well whatever, sunder armor ftw!

Also, hm, I'm around 95% accuracy, so I may move some points around to pump that up a bit.

Probably a good idea. 100% accuracy is huge.
