I would like to do this, but this weekend is a transition from one internship site to another, so playtime might be dicey. Or I might have all the time in the world.

Reywind and I will be around this weekend and over the next couple nights. Our alts are t2 and our mains are t3, so we'll probably bounce around.

I always like the WoW Halloween stuff too. Festive.

I'm looking forward to playing around with the witching night events too! But I just made rank 32, so I'm stuck in bottom of T4 I guess. :(

I tried a few of them last night. First, do not expect to get the elite influance reward unless you play 10+ hours a day from now until November 2nd. I killed all of the first two creature requirements, and got a whopping 14 influance for each kill. During the PQ events, I got 11 influance per kill. The first tier reward requires 10k influance.

The PQ's re-spawn once an hour.
The PQ's are only in the RVR lakes
Once one side starts to win, the other side retreats out of the lake, and the event fails... see you in 60+ minutes.
Once the lord actually spawns for stage 2, the other side is free to still attack you/kill you, and the lord is slightly tougher then a keep lord... out in the open.
You need to kill 10 PQ lords, assuming the other side will let you get a shot at him, and you can actually take him down.

Fun?

Sounds like they made it a bit on the ridiculously hard side. What's the point if no one can complete it. It's not fun if you continually fail because the other side runs away when you get close.

Ugh. I tried the Black Fire Pass one. All we did was stand around outside the warcamp and fight a wall of Destro while people asked "What the hell is going on?" "When is it the PQ going to spawn?" "It's been so long!" "Everyone, organize this way...! Assist a ranged dps!" "Why... a ranged dps?" "Because!" "Which one?" "Er..."

Ungh... headache just thinking about it. And I also noticed that even farming restless spirits with Harker & Talinda, we netted next to nothing except a lot of Gobbo masks. :rolleyes:

What are Gobbo masks?

Yeah, I tried this last night (destro side) and honestly can't for the life of me figure out how anyone will get this reward. Assuming you jump from pairing to pairing trying to farm the pq, it'd still require an unreasonable amount of play-time.

It's the one on the far right at the top worn by a Black Orc, or the far left at the bottom worn by a Marauder. It has no stats or anything, but it's kinda fun to wear for awhile. When I put mine on, it shaved off half the back of Naylan's head - which is creepy in itself.
