Reminder on the importance of reputation in a PvP sandbox game...

Hey folks,

I just wanted to throw it out there that our reputation in the game / on the server is very important. In this type of game there will be a lot of diplomacy and throughout the years ahead playing this game the actions taken by our members will be the difference between being Kill on Sight or Don't-Mess-With-Us-Friends.

When you are out and about try and hold yourself to a high level of conduct. This includes how you handle yourself in chat, actions you take on people's plants, etc.

We have a great community here and this stuff usually goes without saying - but I wanted to say it once due to how important the reputation of the guild is in a game like this.

To provide a data point in support of this - one of our members tonight helped another guild get a spot in their guild town by moving their farm. Almost immediately the leader of this guild contacted and said anything we ever need they'll be there. What you do matters. Remember that.

Is there any code of conduct between guildies as far as farms and crops are concerned?

If you pick something from someones farm, mail it to them if they aren't online.

You don't need to mail me what you pick off my gardens. I set them Guild so anyone could use them or it could be coordinated somehow. Maybe a central person should be designated to receive the goods for distribution to the needy?

our guild group the went on trade runs last night to Freedich. I liked the way we did our best to never leave our dead (or dc'd) behind. and we stayed to help other guilds so they could get their packs delivered. I like that our guild has a good sense of honor. should serve us well over the weeks and months to come.

There is only a need for 1 rule when it comes to guildies farms.. don't be a horrison... I mean a dick.
