Ooh, where in Texas? Maybe we're neighbors!
Texas is larger than many countries.

You don't get snow there?! Maybe it's too coastal. I'm way south of you in McAllen. About 7 and a half hours.
Edit: Looked at a map: So not coastal.
Almost everywhere around us will get snow but we usually won't. The last time we had enough snow to know it was snowing was about.... 6 to 7 years ago. It's iced over a couple of times but yeah, snow's pretty rare in Nacogdoches.
We had it snow in 2005. On Christmas day. First time in 100 years, and likely the last for another hundred.
I must be the only one who is bored at work on Saturday. I still have no backup, I somehow have a heavier workload with textbooks this weekend than I did with gifty stuff before Christmas, and I have some kind of flu+ thing that made me die six or eight times in Ifrit HM yesterday because dizzy. #thanksobama
But I also have the entire third floor to myself on Saturdays, I started listening to Welcome to Night Vale, and I have a peppermint mocha.
Aww Bell, sorry you have to work on Saturdays. I'm glad I only do Mon-Fri. Just out about today doing errands and weekend stuff before our huge freeze hits. -25 low -15 high and -40 to -50 windchills. Gonna suck. Enjoy your mocha, sounds yummy :)
