So, I just want to make sure I fully understand the tether/ charge combo because the heat lightning/ tether or charge is cake.

Arion is 1, Ishata is 2, Kheo is 3, I'm 4. We only need a total of 3 people, including the one with the tether to soak the tether, right?
If someone other than one of us four gets the tether, Arion and Kheo go soak the tether. The remaining people go soak the charge.
If Arion gets the tether and Kheo gets the charge, then Ishata and I go soak the tether while the remaining people go soak charge.
If Ishata gets tether and someone else gets charge, Arion and Kheo go soak tether and the remaining people get to charge.
Basically, I'm not touching tether unless any combo of Arion, Ishata or Kheo have both marks.

That would be Arion and Ishata (1 & 2). They are the basic setup. I go in only if one of them gets the tether.

Wait wait wait.

If someone other than the 4 of you gets the tether, #1 and #2 soak the tether, and then #3 and #4 will go soak the charge.

Let's say...

Gwen gets the tether. Arion and Ishata soak the tether.
Aelya gets the charge. Kheo and Andaris (with Haz) soak the charge.

If one of you does not have the tether or the charge, it should always be 1/2 on the tether, 3/4 on the charge.

If one of you has the tether and the charge, then the other two soak the tether, and Aelya and I soak the charge.

Or am I wrong?

I think the part people are getting confused with is that there are 3 tethers possibilities

Heat + Charge. All unaffected by Heat should stack up.
Heat + Tether. All unaffected by Heat should stack up. (we can work with numbers, but its safer this way)

Tether + Charge. Then yes, if 1&3 have Tether and Charge, 2 and 4 should stack up on Tether, and You, and Aelya go for Charge. That is a very extreme case, or on that combo, we could say one of you go soak the tether(since you have lower hp), and the leftover number goes for the charge damage
