Re: Your must have UI addons
Let me update my UI list one last time before launch (I doubt I'll add/subtract anything between now and Saturday):
BetterCombatText
BetterQuestLog
BijiiPlates
ClassicQuestDialog
CommodityStats
Galaxy Library
Galaxy Meter
Grid
IconLoot
Interruptor
JunkIt
LocalTime
NavMate
PotatoUI
RestXPReminder
SCastBar
Scrappy
Re: Your must have UI addons
I found using CustomFoV made my life a little easier, along with Movable Frames.
Re: Your must have UI addons
BetterCombatText has gone under and is being replaced by:

Re: Your must have UI addons
Does anyone know if there is a easier way to set a way point for a quest location with NavMate, other than going to the map and setting a point?
Re: Your must have UI addons
Literally looking for NavMate alternatives atm..
Check this:

StickyHint seems promising
Re: Your must have UI addons
Seems like it has an issue with Datacron addon. Hopefully it gets fixed because it would probably do the job.
Re: Your must have UI addons
Remember when I said I was done with mine? I lied.
Current list:
AnotherSCT
BetterQuestLog
BijiiPlates
ClassicQuestDialog
CommodityStats
CustomFOV
Galaxy Library
Galaxy Meter
Grid
IconLoot
Interruptor
JunkIt
LocalTime
NavMate
Nexus Panel
Potato UI
RestXPReminder
SCastBar
Scrappy
SpaceStash
Bold = highly recommended
Re: Your must have UI addons
Hey so I guess I'm late to the addon party, but I was wondering if:
1. Should I start playing the game first and download the addons 1 by 1 to see how things change and if I like them or just add them all at once before even launching the game?
2. Is there any threat of viruses downloading these things? My gaming pc has nothing other than games and I would love to keep it that way as long as possible.

This.
I was literally just coming on to ask if I should just start out with default UI, quests, etc.... or if I should just go ahead and addon
Re: Your must have UI addons
Personally if I had to go back in time to my first day in beta... I think I'd just start with addons... but that's because I see the value in them, have played with/without them. Starting out fresh, maybe its worth starting vanilla and slowly adding things to appreciate the value and fine tune?
Virus wise I believe there's no reason for concern. LUA is a super high level scripting language that should only be able to call on WildStar's API. My reco: Just use Curse.
