You know when I spend the odd Saturday or Thursday night at my LGS playing magic I sometimes think to myself "man maybe I should be at home with the family" or "I wonder if I should have used the money for something else". Then I look over at the dude with his measuring tape and two grand of space marines and think. AW well. At least I'm not that guy ;)

RJO I personally hate those RTS games. All my Friday night hang out friends have gotten into Warmachines lately, kind of a new cheaper Warhammer game, and I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't dig it.

Typically. I've been reading about HeroClix and Wildstar for most of the day, with some work intermingled between.

Had a doc appointment today for just a check up. They drew so much blood I may be a vampire now.

What are heroclix? It sounds like an excuse to spend money and I would like to subscribe to their newsletter on that basis alone...

Its a collectible pre-painted miniatures game, with sets and boosters similar to that of Magic. Its primarily DC/Marvel based, but they have access to several IPs such as Bioshock Infinite, Kick Ass, etc.

Yes, this. A Deadpool themed set is out right now, and there's a tournament this weekend where I can win some limited edition pieces. Should be AWESOME!

Now, if only I can get them to let me use my Street Fighter set.
