Just bumped our Beta Forums post. :)

The beta recruitment forums have a new trend tonight. Suddenly they are filled with threads asking who is playing the game in a particular state or region. I can't really post in these threads (haven't found one for Minnesota yet), but some of them could turn into recruiting opportunities if people want to be on the same server as others in their area, for example.

Here are the threads I spotted tonight, and I'm sure more will be popping up. If you find a thread for your state, you might want to post to say hi and share the name of the great FC you will be playing with. Represent!

Alaska
Arizona
Colorado
Connecticut/East Coast
Florida
Michigan
New Jersey
Ohio
Southern states
Texas

Edit: Geez, these things are spreading like wildfire. I checked back after just a few minutes and found four more:

Wisconsin
Minnesota (yay!)
Maryland
Georgia

At this rate, by morning all 50 states plus overseas territories should have their own threads. No threads for Canada yet, though. :) I guess those guys are too shy, eh?

I went to the NJ link you posted, that one's a dud. Here's the first one started:

I advertised AKS on that one... however, I'm not sure if that'll bring more quality people in, or make people stay away lol.

I'm not really "advertising" in the state thread--I just let them know what world I'm on and which FC I'm playing with (linked to our recruiting post). Those who are interested will pursue it.

Aww, yeah! I see Texas in there! Too bad I get blocked by our network security at work. >.> I'll give it a look tonight though.

Well yea... that's what I did.
