Returning from a break

Hello Knights!

I have a question about returning, I was new when I became a Knight then life hit (and Legion) so I took a break from FFXIV. I plan on resubbing but I think I was removed from the FC for not being on. Will I need to re-apply or could I message one of the officers and get back in?
