How to win in Mourkain Temple: A Helpful Guide

I know we have this down, but I happened to read this, and figured we should archive it for easy sharing. I've seen some pretty horrible Mourkain Temple play recently...so next time we see someone with no clue, we can just direct them here.

You missed the crucial step in winning Mourkain:

DON'T INVITE DUNKIRK - THAT DUDE IS CURSED :D

In all honesty though, this comic while funny isn't 100% correct. You only gain points with "the thing" if the person carrying "the thing" is killing people. Yes you get points for killing the person with the thing but trying to farm the person with the thing is usually a losing prospect.

You need to get the thing but you also need to just generally out play the other day. Maintain your melee/tank line, protect your healers and make sure the pew pew pew in the rear (because ranged pew pew pew belongs in the rear RIGHT ENGINEERS??!?!?!) is able to do their thing.

The best thing you can do is set a /assist who knows what they are doing and rip through soft targets. That = points.

Dammit, now everyone knows. It's just in that scenario, though, and I'm moving into Tier 3, so hopefully the curse won't find a new scenario to screw me in :).

I'd also like to point out that really, since the masses in general have no idea how to do anything but randomly kill people and run around, if we got them ALL to focus exclusively on the dude with the thing and his healer crew, we would win every game. Then our [MA] picks up the thing, and we kill a bunch of folks, winning easily.

Except for THIS Engineer! *slaps on Flak Jacket* I'm ready for some tanks, mwahahahahaha!

You know you love when I run up Barbed Wire> Flame Turret > Land Mine then run back jumping over the tanks and healers clinging to life...

another FUN thing to do if you don't have anyone with vroom vroom (mount), basically garanteeing you won't get "the thing" first is run around to the other side and FLANK them! It's kinda fun, and it's so cool looking, and effective too!

That's the one of the most hilarious guides I've seen in a loooong time, and true :-) If people don't get it now, nothing will be able to explain it better.
