[WildStar] I am Xans, Woo!

Greetings!

I am Xans, and I am interested in joining your guild! I am looking to join a guild in which everyone is treated kindly and works as a family. I was recommended here by Andaris and Telom as they say this is a solid, friendly guild to be a part of and I enjoy a guild which functions more as a family than a business; and yes, that includes family quarrels. I am a talkative sort but I try to be very friendly and helpful to most everyone. I do work with a dry humor and am frequently made of sarcasm and brain-breaking "wtf?" statements, but I do strive to make sure it does not cross offensive lines, to which I immediately take actions to amends as it makes me sad when others are sad with me. Andaris, Telom, and Peros can all speak for my character.

I have been a WoW raider for years and like to think I take the "-tard" OUT of "Huntard." Sure I have my moments (like taunting the boss and getting my face smashed in), but who doesn't? I also raided in SWtoR for a time. I am of the opinion you can never have enuf' dakka, and when it doesn't matter: can't stop won't stop.

Yes, Van, yes you did. You will always be "Van" to me, independent of what you go by on the forums.

I'll add that if you all watch the WildStar DevSpeak videos and laugh, you'll also appreciate Xans's sense of humor.

Welcome to the forums! Always happy to have yet even more friends and family of current members join as well. I'm not sure how well your sarcasm will go over here. Everyone here tries to maintain sincerity at all times.

Noted. I probably should have been more clean in that I try not to be insultingly sarcastic, but more bad idea sarcastic, and its almost always directed at myself instead of at other people.

e.g. I would not say to someone who died to the fire "yes, stand in the fire, it helps us!"

I would be far more likely to say "Ima go pull the boss, brb!" or "Everybody, bail out! Hunters: Feign Death! Rouges: Vanish! Pallys: Bubble hearth! Druids: TO MOONGLADE!"

Again, I do strive not to offend people and sincerely try to make amends when I do; both for the offending incident and in behavioral correction. I understand that I can be misunderstood at times which is why I strive to make sure I make up for my mistakes.
